Do I need an appointment? NO 

How much does a trip to KeepSakes Cost? Cost is simply pottery plus $2 studio fee.   Most pottery falls between $10 and $20.  However we also carry many large platters, bowls, canisters, great for handprint designs.

What can I paint?
  Our specialty is pottery painted by you  with YOUR design.  Pottery pieces include: kitchenwares, dinnerware, bathroom accessories, figurines, banks, serving dishes, and much more.  Selection is always changing, come by often to see what is new.   Create you own pottery using our slab roller.  Appointment required.  Perfect for children’s hand impressions.

Do I have to be artistic? Absolutely not!  Our staff is very skilled at showing you easy techniques.   Your creation will be a true masterpieces to be treasured.  Ask us about using stamps, tracing, splattering.

Can I use the pieces?  Our pottery is glazed to be food, dishwasher and microwave safe.

What if I don’t finish my artwork? We offer two options for unfinished artwork.  Courtesy shelves are available to store unfinished pieces for up to 30 days (at your own risk), or you may take it with you and return later to complete.  $2 studio fee applies each time you return.

What is the best age for pottery painting?
  Nothing  is cuter than the painted footprint of a 2 week old or more touching that a KeepSakes painted by Great Grandmother.  Pottery painting is for everyone.

Does KeepSakes travel?
It is our pleasure to travel to you with paint, pottery and brushes.  A $25 travel fee will be added to your final bill.

Can we bring in food or drinks?
  Of course, food and beverages are always welcome.  Snacks, pizza, sandwiches wherever your tastebuds lead you.  Bonfires, Fujis, Aggies and Andy’s are all within walking distance of the pottery shop.  Beer and wine are always welcome for painters over 21.  ID’s will be checked to ensure state laws are maintained.
